Technology:
The TVS website will broadcast hundreds of channels through the prison cable system that shows pre-recorded on-line literacy development, GED, and college courses. From securely linked computer laboratories, graduate teaching assistants and undergraduates participating in the University TVS Project will use live video conferencing to tutor and provide academic advisement to inmates. The college students will receive class credit, scholarships, grants, student loan forgiveness, etc., for assisting the inmates.
